Healing Hugs

Do you love the color purple? I have many in my life who have purple as their favorite color and they inspired this card for me. The beautiful colors of this card are just so soothing. Misc – Layering Circles Dies (151770)

Measurements: All measurements in inches

Gorgeous Grape Card Stock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Highland Heather Card Stock: 2 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Whisper White Card Stock: 2″ x 5 1/2″ Scrap for stamping
Granny Apple Green Card Stock: Scrap for die cutting

Instuctions:

Fold the piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock in half creating a 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card
Stamp leaves on the card base front in Gorgeous Grape ink to add a watermarked pattern to the background
Use Highland Heather ink to stamp the roses onto the Whisper White piece. Align the roses of the edge of the card stock to create a naturally patterned look
Use Granny Apple Green ink to add leaves to the stamped Whisper White piece
Adhere the stamped Whisper White piece to the small Gorgeous Grape piece of card stock and then adhere both pieces to the card base off center closer to the fold of the card base
Stamp your sentiment on to the Whisper White scrap piece
Use the Layering Circle dies to cut a circle fitting closely around the sentiment
Use the Layering Circle dies to cut a next size circle of Granny Apple Green card stock to layer under the sentiment
Adhere the Granny Green circle under the Whisper White circle and then adhere them both to the card base using dimensionals for added depth
