Having successfully navigated through a very difficult month in my life it’s time to get back to the stuff I enjoy; making and sharing cards!
This week I’m going to be show casing the In Good Taste Suite which features the Tastful Touches stamp bundle. I’m also trying my hand at video tutorials, so please be kind.
What I love most about the cards I will be sharing is that each one can be created in just 10 minutes which is totally my style of crafting since my life is already full with 3 kids, a full time job and my community obligations.
As always the written directions are provided below the card image and I would love for you to share your creations inspired by today’s project.
Supplies:
- Stamp Sets – Tasteful Touches(152562);
- Card Stock – Night of Navy (100867); Very Vanilla (101650);
- Stamp Pads – Night of Navy Ink (147110);
- Misc. – In Good Taste Elements (152476); Tasteful Touches Framelit (152886); Dimensionals (104430);
Measurements:
- Night of Navy Card Stock 1: 11” x 4 1/4” Scraps for Diecut and accent piece
- Very Vanilla Card Stock 2: 4” x 5 ¼”
- Background DSP: 4” x 5 ¼”
- Topper DSP: 2” x 1 1/2”
Instructions:
- Fold your Night of Navy card stock in half to create a 4 ¼” x 5 ½” card base
- Use your background DSP piece to stamp your images using the Night of Navy ink
- Adhere your background DSP to the front of your card base
- Adhere the Very Vanilla card stock to the inside of your card base
- Use your large Night of Navy card stock scrap piece to die cut your sentiment frame
- Cut the topper DSP piece with the same framelit and then trim it inside the embossed edges to fit inside the die cut card stock piece
- Stamp your sentiment onto the newly die cut piece of DSP
- Adhere both the die cut cardstock and the stamped DSP together
- Adhere your ¼” wide strip of card stock across the middle of the card front
- Adhere the sentiment topper over the card stock strip using dimensionals if desired
- Embellish with your elements however you like to finish your card
