Supplies:
You can find all the supplies you need to create this card linked below.
Instructions:
This card was created to a finished card size of 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Start with your card base and fold in half to create your finished card size. The white piece will be your card front measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″. Take your Stamparatus and lay your card front down on it, centered on the base. Then place the text stamp where you want it on your card front and press the Stamparatus plate down on it to pick it up. Ink up your stamp in Gray Granite and then stamp on to cardstock for a solid impression. Next place the floral stamp where you want it directly on the stamped text image. Again ink the stamp in Gray Granite and then stamp on to the cardstock for a solid impression. Let the images dry for just a couple of minutes and then you can begin to color. The stem and leaves were colored using the bullet and brush tip of the Soft Seafoam Stampin’ Write marker. The flowers were colored with the Light and Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends. Once you have your image fully colored, you can stamp the sentiment of your choice towards the top of the card. After gluing the card front to the card base, the finish touches were the beautiful In Color Jewels placed around the colored image. Hope you have fun making your version of this card if it inspires you.

Petal Pink is a color that I often forget about and find difficult to use. For this blog hop I challenged myself to use this color in a major way. The result is the card shown featuring the Hydrangea Haven stamp and die bundle. If you would to create this card I have listed the supplies, measurements and instructions below. I would love to see any cards this posts inspires you to make!

Measurements:
- Petal Pink Card Stock – 4 1/4″ x 11″ 3″ x 3″
- Pear Pizzaz Card Stock – 4″ x 3″
- Basic White Card Stock – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Designer Series Paper – 1″ x 5 1/4″
Instructions:
- Fold your 11″ piece of Petal Pink Card Stock in half to create a card base.
- Die cut your 3″ Petal Pink Card Stock for the flower head and the piece of Pear Pizzazz for the stem.
- Fluff up the individual semi cut petals on the flower head as desired.
- Stamp the flower head (Petal Pink) and stem (Pear Pizzazz) on to the Basic White Card Stock. Be sure to offset the image to the left to allow for the overlay of the die cut pieces.
- Use dimensionals to adhere the Petal Pink die cut flower to the card. You want to offset it with the already stamped image so that the stamped image is like a shadow.
- Use Fine Tip Glue to adhere the Pear Pizzazz die cut stem aligned with the flower head.
- Adhere the Designer Series Paper along the long side of the Basic White card front.
- Stamp your desired sentiment in Gray Granite ink.
- Adhere the card front to your card base and add Rhinestone Jewels as desired to finish the card.

January 2022 Luv 2 Stamp Blog Hop
Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2022 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you again this year. We hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products.

In making this card, my thought was to be simple, expressive and a little masculine. How do you think I did? I chose a monochromatic semi-neutral color scheme of Old Olive. I added the die cuts rather than a lot of stamping to lighten the ‘fluffy’ feeling love cards tend to have. Both of the die shapes come from the Sweet Heart die set. The most tricky part of this card is knowing what size piece of pattern paper you need for you background. The answer is…………………… 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches. Once you have that, just cut it corner to corner at a diagonal to get your two triangle pieces and adhere them to your card spaced as far apart as you’d like. Add your sentiment using Mossy Meadow ink and TA-DAH! You have a great card to give to someone.

April 2021 Luv 2 Stamp Blog Hop
Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year, we hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Happy crafting! This month’s theme is Teacher Appreciation.
My approach to this card was to blend the old with the new while giving the recipient (a teacher) a heart warming feeling. I choose the Tasteful Touches Stamp Set that has some amazingly versatile sentiments and the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper that is releasing with the new annual catalog on May 4th. I think they make a great combination. The shape of the sentiment is purposely offset to show the beauty in purposeful imperfections that will always be found in people.

Happy crafting! This month’s theme is Earth Day.
The theme of Earth Day was really kind of a challenge for me. I didn’t want to use the obvious globe or picture of the earth so I decided to take a slightly different focus and settled on the pieces of Earth itself. Nature, in all of it’s untouched beauty. This thought process took me straight to the Dandy Garden Designer series paper and the focus of showcasing it. What you see below is what was born from that thought process and surprisingly I like it. I played with my water color pencils and blending brushes to add some spotlight to different pieces of the card which really made it pop for me. I hope you like it to and maybe try the challenge of creating an “Earth Day” card too.
This card is only one in a long list of beautiful cards for you to check out so be sure to continue along the hop. Below is a list of all the members participating in this hop and a quick easy ‘next button’ to link you to your next stop. Enjoy and be sure to stop back and see me soon!

The inspiration for my card was this purely the month’s theme of ‘celebrating women’. Admittedly it took me a minute to get started simply because there are so many different ways to celebrate women…..mothers, sisters, wives, professionals, just female in general……so many ways. Below is what I came up with and I think I covered every woman 🙂

2020 November Stampin’ UP! Onstage Event
For the past 4 years I have been in Salt Lake City Utah at this time of year participating in the annual Stampin’ UP! Onstage event. However, this year is much, much different. With the COVID-19 pandemic having taken over 2020, I am not in Salt Lake City, I am home in good old Omaha. But one thing has not changed. I am STILL attending the Stampin’ UP! Onstage event! This year is a little different because we are all participating virtually this year. Even though we are all very far apart there are many things that have not changed. The excitement, fun, and fabulous ideas are just a few of the things that are all still present. Of course one of the most important things is the NEW MINI CATALOG. That’s right, just like always, we were given the ability to see the new catalog early and even place an order for some great new products! It doesn’t get much better for an avid stamper, LOL. Gotta run, it’s time for the Stamp and Share workshop…….
Fall Stampin’ Up! Card Designer Showcase 2020-Vol 1
Hello, hello, hello! Welcome back, I’m glad you are here. Today I decided to do something a little different the my normal. Today I am showcasing some other amazing designers that shared their work with me through a recent card swap. Keeping with the Fall/Autumn theme the following cards are all made with that season in mind. I hope you enjoy the beautiful cards show cased below.
This beautiful card made with the complimentary colors of Very Vanilla and Mint Macaron is definitely my style. I just love it. The leaves popped up gives it that finishing touch that just puts it over the top.
This card was created by Corie Ulrey. I just love the colors chosen for this card, so rustic. It is also unique given it is designed with a fun fold in mind versus the standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″.
Another card that incorporates so many of the beautiful colors of the season. Lucy Lyons created this card and chose to showcase our beautiful Designer Series Paper called Gilded Autumn. If you love this paper you need to make sure you get a pack soon as it is limited to the mini catalog that ends this December.
In the card above Wendy Carrizosa made the Cajun Craze pop off the card using the Very Vanilla as a base. The contrast is just stunning. She also sponged the sentiment just a little bit to give it that worn rustic look blending it in with the rest of the card perfectly.
I hope you enjoyed this designer showcase and a chance to see some different styles and creative ideas. Below I have listed the main products used in the cards shown on this page. If you are interested, just click the item and it will take you to my store for more information. I hope to see you again tomorrow for the next page of inspiration.
