The theme of Earth Day was really kind of a challenge for me. I didn’t want to use the obvious globe or picture of the earth so I decided to take a slightly different focus and settled on the pieces of Earth itself. Nature, in all of it’s untouched beauty. This thought process took me straight to the Dandy Garden Designer series paper and the focus of showcasing it. What you see below is what was born from that thought process and surprisingly I like it. I played with my water color pencils and blending brushes to add some spotlight to different pieces of the card which really made it pop for me. I hope you like it to and maybe try the challenge of creating an “Earth Day” card too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
